Track Day At The Amoranto Velodrome! (National Games 2013 Track Cycling)

A memorable day for everyone who went there!

PSC and POC held last May 28, the National Games 2013 Track Cycling at the Amoranto Velodrome in preparation for the 2013 Southeast Asian Games.

Fortunate enough, the MFG and WeFXD were invited to watch the competition and play on the track for a couple of rounds!

It was indeed, an awesome day for the cycling community here in the Philippines!

More track events to come!

Track Day This Tuesday And Wednesday!!!

Yeap! You read that right!

The Philippine Olympic Committee and Philippine Sports Commission will be holding the National Games 2013 for Track Cycling at the Amoranto Velodrome this coming Tuesday and Wednesday on the 28th and 29th of May!

Some of us may not be able to join these events (as to it is only for registered/professional track cyclists), but hey, wouldn't it be fun to watch our own track sprinters on full throttle?

Let's support our fellow cyclists/track sprinters on upcoming events such as this one!

For more details, check out Pinoy Fixie's post!

See you on the track!

Weekend Means Long Ride!

...and long ride we did!

Some of the boys went out riding and conquered the hills of Bugarin Pililla Rizal(again!) with only one gear, brakeless and fixed under the wild heat of the sun!! It was a total of 120+ KM from makati to bugarin and back. And going up to bugarin's peak was a good 10km of uphill punishment! Til the next long Long Ride boys! GVGR!

RIDERS:
Aaron (49x15), Kiko (48x14), Erik (47x15), Wham (48x15),
Kalki (48x14), Renzo (53x16), Frederick (47x15)

Are You UP For The Challenge?

Everyone is invited to punish their legs and test their skills, UPHILL!

Route challenges are to be announced on the challenge days themselves after the first Wednesday ride of every month. Who know's, maybe the uphill you have been regularly beating might be someone's worst climb!

See you on the rides and on the uphills!
